It is a pleasure for me, on behalf of the organizing committee,to welcome you to Madrid, to the 16th IEEE International Conference on Cluster Computing. It is the fourth time the IEEE Cluster is held in Europe, and the second one in Spain. I hope you enjoy your stay in our beautiful city, plenty of vibrant cultural and artistic life. With over 100 museums, offering richly diverse contents, Madrid boasts an exceptional artistic and historical heritage.
