This paper explores the issues two technical communication departments face in an international program partnering. For the departments, the partnership answers the need for efficient course delivery. Faculty and students enjoy the opportunity for intercultural exchanges. The immediate issues that challenge the programs are explored. But additional considerations add complexity to the endeavor. The international program partnering begins with small steps
