Abstract :
A channel coding technique based on wavelet sequences is presented. The coding technique has the following properties: no rate loss is incurred if M-ary modulation techniques are used; performance is improved over that of antipodal signaling in burst noise and fading channels; and the decoding algorithm is simple-a set of m length-mg correlators provides optimum decoding
