Abstract :
The performance of communications with binary frequency-shift keying (BFSK) modulation over Rayleigh fading channels is estimated. Previous analyses of BFSK communications over frequency-selective fading channels have typically assumed that the time delay spread models are symmetrical. A new method for estimating error probability that can be used with nonsymmetrical time delay spread models is proposed. Results for the normalized parameter D/T (standard deviation/pulse duration) and for symmetrical and nonsymmetrical models are presented
