Abstract
A unified approach to the synthesis of current programmed switching DC-DC converters by means of state-space techniques is presented. The construction of the synthesis algorithm requires the classification of the state variables according to their dynamical behavior. Certain significant indexes have been defined and the equation defining the change of subinterval has been formulated. As a result, the algorithm has accounted for the existence of the particular realizations previously reported and has opened the way to new designs based on the average value in T on or in T off
