Abstract :
In this paper wideband code division multiple access (W-CDMA) is proposed as a method to transmit high quality speech and high speed data including Group 3 facsimile and 64 kbps unrestricted data. The maximum capacity is 64 channels per microcell without sectorization and voice activity detection.
