Abstract :
Sand animation, a performance art, is the process morphing sand on light box. Our goal is to create a sand image, similar to the sand animation of a single image using an input image such that it replicates the features of the sand animation production technique and process. To create a sand image, we propose a sand simulation process that considers the control directions. The process of sand animation production is as follows. First, the image creation of sand animation begins after pouring a sufficient amount of sand. Second, the sand animation is created from the main region in order. Third, when creating a portion of sand animation, the contours are generated first. Thus, we obtain a result that replicates the features of the sand animation production process.
