Abstract
Interoperability in Supply Networks in the Automotive Industry gained in particular in the last years substantially significance, since both the depth of the Supply Chains and their complexity increased dramatically and therefore a supplier-spanning viewpoint became necessary. In this paper a new collaborative architecture paradigm will be presented with a practical structure of an elastic cloud information system that has been put into use for an interoperable realization of spanning processes for the Automotive Industry Supply Networks. Elastic collaborative supply networks will allow organizations to plan effectively, sense disruptions, react on a real-time basis in the future and affordable not only for large suppliers but for SMEs as well.
