Present status and future development of US federal standards for HF communications

This paper summarizes the status of existing US HF federal standards, the current and future work in the development of additional US federal standards, and identifies issues as to how these federal HF standards relate to international standards activities within NATO and the International Telecommunication Union-Radiocommunication sector (ITU-R)
