The carbon trade is a market mechanism that can play an important role in reducing the stress of greenhouse gases emission for the world. With the convening of the 15th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP15), both the investment mode and the prospects of Chinese participation in the global carbon trade are worthy of attention. This paper mainly discusses the selection of investment mode and the necessary risk prevention in Chinese participation in carbon trade.
