Abstract :
This paper explores the current research potentials for interrelating Product-Service Systems (PSSs) and Collaborative Networks (CNs) domains. A PSS blends products and services for value co-creation whereas a CN connects geographically dispersed entities through computer technologies. Motivated by areas of interoperability for both domains, this paper proposes an approach that (i) defines the structure of a `collaborative product-service system network´ (CPSSN), and (ii) identifies useful measures for analysing CPSSNs. A case study of the proposed approach within a semiconductor based company is also described. The paper concludes by outlining some applications of the proposed approach and possible future research directions to explore communication channels and information technology relevance, and CPSSN requirements.
