  • Abstract
This paper introduces application adaptation methods of user interface system based on gesture recognition. Most of researches related gesture recognition has focused on increasing of recognition rate of developed system. However., the adaptation methods for real-world applications are also important for content providers and system developers. Therefore., we show the adaptation methods of gesture recognition and the way of use as interfaces for real-world application in this paper. The proposed system enables users have interactions with various applications by recognizing users” gestures. This system provides interface types including TUIO., network-based OS message., independent module, and adaptation tool for creating user interfaces. The developed system can be utilized for a lots of gesture based system such as augmented reality (AR)., virtual multi touch and virtual mouse through the recognition of hand positions., gestures and postures.
