Abstract :
Wavelet-based approaches have been proposed in the literature for different fields. In this paper we focus on an application for power electronics. In particular a three-phase inverter setup is considered as the reference platform to compare the results coming from a modeling activity with experimental data. The paper introduces the theoretical background for the state equation in the Haar domain and then describes the specific model for the application under analysis. The experimental data are finally used to verify how far the simulated data match with the real ones. The example is also used to show how the multi-resolution approach to modeling is successful for identification purposes.
