Structural way of thinking as applied to good design. III. Reducing programming errors

Programming errors are explained from the viewpoint of human error. Two kinds of programming error are identified: building-in errors during design and checking-out errors following the design. By separating error problems, key points for reducing building-in errors can be reduced to the questions of how to make the building-in rate small and how to make checking-out perfect. Error problems during design and testing are explained. Suggestions for reducing errors are given
