A solution for the interoperability of telecommunication management network systems

An approach based on the IDEA method (intelligence, diagnostic, expertise, administration), which permits different telecommunication management networks (TMNs) to cooperate in order to achieve a global administration policy, is presented. The architecture based on the IDEA method is described. An approach used to solve the TMNs´ cooperation problem is given. It is assumed that each TMN is composed of several management centers based on the IDEA architecture. A prototype that makes such an approach operational is described
