Abstract
Summary from only given, as follows. Design and tolerance analysis of thick iris coupled waveguide filters are described. Numerical techniques are used to precisely model the iris and probe. A novel equivalent circuit is derived and is used to compute the dimensions of the filter. Tolerance analysis determines the requirement of the manufacturing tolerances. Experimental results show the validity of the exact design of this filter. This technique can be used extended to other types of filters.
