Abstract :
This paper investigated the problem of formation flying reconfiguration control of satellite. A simulation method based on STK and Matlab for the satellites formation reconfiguration control was introduced. Control strategy using linear-quadratic regulator techniques was presented. Relative dynamical models of formation flying were introduced, and based on the circular reference orbit, Hill equations were deduced. At last, Linear-quadratic regulator was adopted to perform the formation flying reconfiguration. The simulation results verified the validity of the model and the controller.
