Abstract :
A consolidated view of all the different aspects of signaling that will be affected by the introduction of broadband ISDN (B-ISDN) services is provided. The impact of B-ISDN services on signaling functions, architectures, and protocols, both higher layer control protocols and lower layer transport protocols, is described. An example of a simplified B-ISDN signaling messaging flow sequence is given
