Abstract :
Advances in the technology of electricity metering in recent years has opened up opportunities for all customers. Coinless pre-payment meters are an example. Of course, such meters are not suitable for everyone, so a range of payment methods need to be available, and sometimes people will prefer not to have a pre-payment meter because it does not suit their personal circumstances-that is their choice. Nevertheless, all customers should be given the opportunity to select the payment arrangement that best suits their needs.
