    The article presents some of the factors that are driving us down the slip roads to the Super Highway, some that are braking our progress, and the author´s view on some things that are necessary requirements to improve the chances of success. (Success is defined as an environment where organisations can profitably offer services that consumers use.) Finally some of the single and dual carriageway roads that we are likely to use until the Super Highway is built are mentioned
