    Rural tourism as an important component of eco-tourism has become a new growth point of China\´s tourism industry. But one problem should not be ignored is that the contradiction between the development of current domestic rural tourism and the maintenance of the ecological environment is highlighting, which became a serious threat to the sustainable development of rural tourism. Taoism is Chinese indigenous religion, their ideological beliefs had infiltrated the traditional Chinese social life. Reviewing of Taoism\´s "nature" and other ecological ethics, reflects the wishes of people to be back to nature, the pursuit of harmony between man and nature, which has also provided some valuable enlightenments about how to develop the modern rural tourism, how to the protect the ecological environment and how to promote sustainable rural tourism development.
