Abstract

This work shows a low-cost modular instrumentation system, which has been developed using the LAN (Local Area Network) of the Spanish oceanographic vessels. The equipment has been tested in the labs of the Centre de Desenvolupament Tecnologic de Sistemes d´Adquisicio Remota i Tractament de la Informacio (SARTI) at the UPC, and will be also tested in a oceanographic environment. It will allow controlling the instrumentation that is used on board of the oceanographic research Spanish vessels.
