Abstract
Based on chaos theory, this paper provides a new method for detection of direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) signal. According to the analysis of intermittent chaos, chaotic oscillators array is used in the method. In addition, the system of Duffing chaotic oscillators array is constructed for blind detection in very low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). Computer simulations prove that the new method is effective. And in comparison with many previous methods such as the method based on wavelet decomposition, the DSSS signal can be detected successfully at a lower detection-threshold by this method, which enhances the performance.
