  • Abstract
Nickel oxide (NiO) nanoparticles with particle size around 30-40 nm have been synthesized via polymerized complex method. In this method, citric acid was used as a reagent and ethylene glycol was used as a polymer stabilizer and also served as a diffusion barrier. The synthesized precursors were calcined at 773, 873 and 973 K for 4 h to obtain the nickel oxide nanoparticles. The structure, morphology, crystalline phase and particle sizes were investigated by XRD, SEM, TEM, UV-vis and FT-IR.
