Abstract
This work presents the direct laser printing of thiol-modified oligonucleotides onto the surface of capacitive biosensor arrays. Three different probes were printed onto the capacitive sensors, one fully complementary, one with internal mismatch base-pair, while the third probe was no complementary to the target analyte to the target analyte in solution and was used as reference. Following the printing of the oligonucleotide probes, the array was left to hybridize with the complementary oligomer target solution. The confirmation of the hybridization was accomplished with both fluorescence microscope and capacitance measurements.
