This article discovers, by means of the behavioral comparative analysis of the peasant household´s borrowed money of two villages of Shanxi and Wenzhou, that the peasant households´ borrowed money mainly stems from the informal channel, a lot of have already been superior to the regular channel in the loan contract terms that the informal channel offered, the borrowed money interest rate of the informal channel is higher than the regular channel, the use of the loan of low developed area is consumption-based and the use of the loan of developed area is productive, the rate of overdue payment of the borrowed money of the low developed area is higher than the developed area, the rate of overdue payment of borrowed money of the regular channel is higher than the regular channel. The analysis demonstrated that the disparity between regional economy and financial development has brought about the difference in such aspects as interest rate, source, use and time limit of the above borrow or lend money among the people. To strengthen the regional economy is the only way to promote the sound progress of the borrow or lend money among the people. The government should see the positive role in the local economic development and the well-being of the masses that the borrow or lend money among the people produced. The government should strengthen the supervision on the folk debt-credit activity to guarantee the health order of the folk capital market.
