Design and development of online course based on blended learning

This paper elaborates the principle of blended learning, discusses the design and development of Database Principles and Applications online course based on blended learning, in view of six elements of online courses of teaching content, learning resources, teaching strategies, teaching activities, support of learning and evaluation of learning and finally the accomplishment of dynamic resource management as well as lesson notes and collaborative learning. Moreover, established on the blended learning principle, the paper introduces a series of design for system function module, database, content of courses, learning resource and supporting system of Database Principles and Applications online course.
