Abstract :
This paper presents a modeling and simulation of an integrated SEPIC converter with a multiplier cell for MPPT implementation in standalone photovoltaic application. An integrated SEPIC converter with a multiplier cell is proposed for the use as a high gain step-up converter and its semiconductor switch operates in continuous conduction mode (CCM). This paper describes the operational principles of the proposed converter and it performance in photovoltaic application together with the MPPT algorithm. The system performance was verified through simulation using MATLAB software. The simulation results showed that the proposed converter has performed successfully as a high gain boost converter for standalone PV application.
