Abstract :
Nitrogen-doped TiO2 (TiO2-xNx) is a promising semiconductor for potential applications in photocatalysis and dye sensitized solar cell (DSSC). However, one of the key challenges for this material is fabricating thin film devices using cost-effective and time-saving routes. To tackle this issue, we have developed a simple one-step, low temperature method for synthesising mono-dispersed colloids of TiO2-xNx. nano-crystals. The formed colloids are very stable (≫12 months) and may be sprayed or printed on all kinds of substrates to create uniform TiO2-xNx thin films in large scale.
