Abstract
Two approaches are presented for the modelling of fuzzy operators on fuzzy domains. The approaches are based on crisp definitions that operate onto crisp representatives of the involved fuzzy sets, which are obtained by using bivalued and trivalued level-cuts. Application examples in the field of fuzzy temporal rules-based reasoning are presented
