Abstract
This paper is concerned with the design problem of robust model predictive controllers for a class of discrete-time systems with time-varying network-induced delays and nonlinear perturbations. The proposed robust networked predictive control (RNPC) consists of the control prediction generator and network delay compensator. By using a new buffering technique, a delay compensation strategy is proposed to eliminate the effects of the network-induced delays. By using the receding optimization and the delay-dependent approach, an optimization problem subject to linear matrix inequality (LMI) constraint is formulated to design the desired controllers in an on-line fashion. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.
