Abstract
A 1.2V 3.5mW CT ΔΣ modulator with a mixer for a mobile digital TV receiver is implemented in 0.11 μm CMOS. A current summing network composed of passive elements is used in the loop filter feedforward path, contributing to the low power consumption. A 78dB total DR is achieved by varying the DAC output power with the input signal power.
