Abstract
OEMs are demanding more and more from their power supply vendors, including higher product performance coupled with pressure to drive down prices. This paper discusses various OEM applications and their requirements, in addition to market quantifications, segmentations and forecasts, to help better understand where this market is going. As this paper illustrates, the authors expect merchant shipment revenues to grow from over $4.6 billion in 1999, to about $6.7 billion in 2003, at a 9.7% compound annual growth rate
