  • Abstract
    A compact passive mm-wave imager (PMMW) has been developed for imaging with 3 mm Dicke-Radiometer and will be reported here. It uses a single-channel scanned superheterodyne radiometer. To solve the contradiction of sensitivity and spatial resolution for the motive platform imaging, adjustable integrator was designed and wavelet-analysis was adopted to wipe off noise effectively. To test a close range and different plane for imaging, two set antenna was designed for imaging. The parameters of the radiometer are given below: the center frequency 91.5 GHz, the system band-width 4 GHz, the sensitivity 0.5 K, the linearity 0.9999.
