Abstract
Biocompatible material ZnO is explored in this paper to highlight the potential application in fluorescence resonance energy transfer based biosensor. Reflecting configuration is designed to measure the resonance of the pair of proteins. ZnO nanorods with typical diameter about 100 nm and 1.5 ¿m long are chosen as energy conversion module. According to the 390 nm near-band-edge photoluminescence emission of ZnO, the interaction of the blue fluorescent protein and the green fluorescent protein will be detected.
