Abstract :
Two configurations of single-phase five-level inverters are compared under identical supply voltage and switching frequency conditions. They alleviate harmonic components of the output voltage and load current. Operational principles with switching patterns of the above inverters are presented. The validity of patterns is verified through simulation using SIMULINK.The simulation results present a sinusoidal output for both the inverters
