  • Abstract
    Triaxial compression plays an important role in learning process of soil mechanics and soil test. Based on the multimedia tools of Flash MX, by using the text, image, audio and video, it is possible to obtain the simulated multimedia test teaching system of triaxial compression experiments in this research. Based on the good visibility and the vivid learning process, the difficulty of operating of the triaxial apparatus and the insipid text learning has been resolved. Because of its many advantages, such as simulation, interaction, repetition, low cost and web popularity, the simulated multimedia test teaching system can not only be useful to distance education, web teaching and normal teaching, but also meet the requirements of personnel training, which is advanced, pertinent and suitable.
