Abstract :
We demonstrate novel technique for RZ-DPSK regeneration based on converting phase-noise into amplitude-noise and eliminating it using SOA. The system was tested using degraded 223-1 PRBS. BER shows removal of error-floor with 4 dB power-penalty improvement.
