    This paper is concerned with the analysis of cycloconverters where a 3 phase voltage with the input frequency fin, is directly converted to an output voltage with output frequency fout. Analysis is carried out for the three-phase to single-phase cycloconverter, because this is the most important basic part for considering cycloconverter operations in general
