Abstract :
In this paper the authors propose a solution for the transport and routing of pallets to identical stations on a production line using sequential automata. Transporting and routing pallets to stations is an important task in flexible manufacturing systems. In order to verify the validity of the solution the automata model is transformed into an equivalent Petri net model. Petri net Toolbox was used to verify the validity of the model.
