Abstract :
A QCW diode end-pumped, high peak power passively Q-switched Yb:YAG/Cr:YAG micro-laser was demonstrated. An output pulse energy of 0.8mJ was obtained with a duration of 4ns. The peak power is 200kW. An M2 value was <;1.1.
