Abstract
As imagery from the new genetics enters our culture, artists have increasingly responded to the ethical and representational concerns posed by genetic engineering. In this paper, the author examines a variety of artistic images of genetically modified fish, rabbits, and rodents, arguing that technical communicators should be aware of these visuals. Indeed, their creators´ effort to communicate this science to the public has important overlaps with our own work.
