Abstract :
A method of buried pipeline route detection based on the geomagnetic field was discussed in this paper. Firstly, the phenomenon of geomagnetic field shielded by buried pipeline of different direction was analyzed. Then the mathematical relationship between the magnetic field inside the pipeline and the pipe direction was derived. In the end, the correctness of the theory discussed in detail above was confirmed by field data.
