Abstract :
Basic separation principle and prototype structure of an air-injected de-oil hydrocyclone, experimental process and facilities are introduced. Influence of different parameters on separation performance is studied. Lab experiments were carried out to provide research basis for oilfield tests. Results indicate that the air-injected de-oil hydrocyclone has satisfactory separation effect; it is feasible for treating emulsified oily wastewater. It might have good application prospect in petrochemical, environmental, and offshore application.
