  • Abstract
    The paper presents a new solution of the stator winding of three-phase induction motor that brings an increase of the performance by modifying the air-gap flux density wave towards a more sinusoidal shape. The concept involves different number of turns in stator slots accompanied by a modification of the magnetic circuit. Both FEM-based analysis and experimental results put in view significant improvements.
