The paper does not only provide the fundamental introduction of the working mechanism of the digital fiber drawing machine, but also achieves the automation control on the machine. Furthermore, this paper gives detailed discussions on the control system, hardware configuration and software design, and provides the I/O wiring diagram and the program design flow chart. The system design is quite reliable and practical, and has been applied in the daily manufacturing.
