Abstract :
Industrial robots are important elements in automated production systems. Programming industrial robots requires the knowledge of robot motion controls. In this paper, some of the advanced control functions of industrial robots are discussed with the examples of FANUC robot program instructions. This includes applying the functions of robot payload estimation, robot stiffness control, and robot collision detection for enhanced robot intelligence.
