Abstract
In this paper, a deadbeat control strategy for active front-end converter (AFC) with observer-based state predictor is presented. In this control scheme, with the help of state observer based predictor, the front-end converter with an inner current deadbeat controller can operate properly and is improved in cases of delay caused by computation and converter power stage. The proposed control strategy is investigated on the front-end voltage source converter and verified by simulation and experiment
