  • Abstract
    A digital single-channel-per-carrier satellite terminal is described. Advantages of using this type of terminal over other types of very small aperture terminals are discussed. Possible network architectures that may be implemented using this terminal are presented. Details of the permanent channel assignment system are discussed. Some of the distinctive hardware designs used for various subsystems in the terminal are presented
