  • Abstract
    Over the last two decades, different types of permanent magnet synchronous generators have been subject of research. In this paper, four different topologies of rotors for synchronous generators have been investigated by means of finite element method (FEM). Our study focuses on the influence of these rotor topologies over the waveform and harmonic content of the back EMF.
